SISTER LILLIAN MURPHY COMMUNITY
>

This affordable family development is broken into four identifiable wings connected with open-air circulation to provide integration and visual connection to the surrounding neighborhood, maximize sunlight on outdoor areas, and create micro-communities within the building and block. A variety of outdoor spaces offer a range of seating and lush landscaping. The community room spills into the ground-level courtyard, and the adjacent lounge is dedicated for teen use. The corner stair tower acts as a beacon at the terminus of an urban view corridor, warm light glowing in the evening through its playful window pattern. Its dynamic, airy interior and stunning views welcome residents to use the stairs, encouraging a healthy and active lifestyle.
