RENTAL ASSISTANCE DEMONSTRATION (RAD) PROJECTS
>

Paulett Taggart Architects has completed five projects for San Francisco’s Mayors Office on Housing & Community Development (MOHCD) that were funded through the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) Rental Assistance Demonstration (RAD) Program. This unique, model program allows private, non-profit developers to rehabilitate and manage SF Housing Authority properties.

Spanning over five years, PTA worked with local developers on the occupied renovation of over 450 units of affordable housing for seniors and disabled persons, as well as provided new spaces to support building operations and tenant services.
Through the RAD program, San Francisco will ultimately renovate 29 properties previously owned by the San Francisco Housing Authority totaling over 4,000 affordable housing units throughout the City.
The completed projects are:

1880 Pine – 113 units for seniors and disabled persons (with Mercy Housing)
350 Ellis – 96 units for seniors and disabled persons (with TNDC)
666 Ellis – 99 units for seniors and disabled persons (with Community Housing Partnership)
939 & 951 Eddy –62 units for seniors (with TNDC)
