Developed by Tenderloin Neighborhood Development Corporation (TNDC), 78 Haight is a new affordable housing project in Hayes Valley providing 63 homes for low income San Franciscans including 32 for transition age youth (ages 18-24) transitioning out of foster care. The seven-story, concrete-framed building leverages San Francisco’s Affordable Housing Bonus Program to increase site density and will feature a rooftop garden, two community rooms, and a nonprofit child development center at the ground. 78 Haight is seeking a LEED Gold Certification.
